If you are an undergraduate degree-seeking student who is switching from a regional campus to Storrs for the Spring semester we have two optional Orientation opportunities for you to get to know the Storrs campus.
One-Day Orientation Program: One Orientation opportunity consists of a one-day Orientation program where you will meet with an academic advisor who will will review your spring class schedule, attend sessions of interest that will familiarize you with support services and departments at Storrs, and go on a campus bus tour. This Orientation program will occur on Friday, January 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is for students only. Family members and friends CANNOT accompany Campus Change students to this program.
NOTE: Certain Schools/Programs may require attendance. If you are required to attend, you will receive additional information via email from your School/Program.
Campus Walking Tour: The second Orientation opportunity consists of a campus walking tour that will occur on the Monday (January 16, 2017) before classes begin for the Spring semester from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m.Students can register for one or both of these optional Orientation opportunities. It is recommended that they bring their spring class schedule so during the one-day program or the walking tour students can learn the locations of their classes. In addition, Orientation leader(s) will be available to escort students through the programs and answer any questions or concerns they have about Storrs.
Residence Halls Open on Sunday, January 15th, 2017. Campus Change students CANNOT move in prior to this date.
Cost to Attend – The only thing you pay for is parking.
